Denver’s Urban Drainage Flood Control District is constantly looking at flood risk data and working on ways to make the community safer. One way they do this is by using the latest data to update their local flood maps, so the community understands its flood risk. This also makes the process more efficient and cost-effective for everyone. Communities don't need to wait for FEMA, they can start an update at any time with a community-initiated map revision.
