Parks in Minnesota | Cowling Arboretum

When I first came to this arboretum last year, I thought it would be similar to the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, which is 1hr 2min from Cowling Arboretum. I was slithly dissapoined that it wasn't, but it is a beautiful park in it own right. I will admit my favorite part is the two lakes with the falls.

The Japanese Garden Jo-Ryo-En (5 min), Flaten Art Museum (8 min), Mill Towns State Trail (10 min), Lake Byllesby Goodhue County Park (14 min), Oxford Mill Ruins (18 min), Nerstrand Big Woods State Park (19 min), Dakota City Heritage Village (20 min), Caron Park (21 min), River Bend Nature Center (27 min), and Miesville Ravine Park Reserve (28 min).
