Having sent my Ducati 748 BiPosto away with a local mechanic to fit new timing belts and give it an overall service, when it was returned three months later there was damage to the fairings, screen and seat from the transportation.

I had a single racing seat already which I had intended to swap so I went about changing the standard BiPosto seat for this new alternative. The lower left fairing was badly scratched and repair by a local body shop was quoted at over $1000. I found some carbon fiber panels online and have ordered these as a replacement, while I repair the original OEM panel for sale on ebay.

The screen was cracked, so a replacement will be ordered and fitted which involves removing the front fairing, involving removing the mirrors and other elements. Both the windscreen and the lower body panels are fixed using a rare, very small #17 star drive with rubber nuts.
