We hiked 40km to celebrate New Years | Cape Town, South Africa

Welcome to 2026 everyone and to my second youtube vlog. After countless years of being incredibly underwhelmed by new year’s festivities, my friends and I came up with this idea and it has been my favorite new tradition ever since. Hiking this far is such an achievement but especially when you start the year like that, it set the tone and if I achieve nothing this year, at least I did this!

This hike was in Cape Town, South Africa. I am a local who was born and raised here and every time I have experiences like this I am reminded how lucky and fortunate I am to have access to spaces like this.
