How to make DIY Giant Wall Sized Scrabble Board Game - Part 1 - Making the Game Board

We found this blog site where someone made a DIY Giant Wall Sized Scrabble Board Game and thought that would be an awesome addition to our next cabin. So my family and I embarked on a mission to build this thing. The blog post that sparked this build was posted by Jen Woodhouse at the following blog:

We kind of took her blog post as a set of guidelines and started this project. In many cases we did things differently than Jen did. The one thing we had help with was with the stencils. A friend of ours who can be found on instagram at LindsayHortonDesigns provided the cricut stencil work we used for the lettering on the board.

In this video, I go over how we built the complete Giant Scrabble board. In the second video, I will cover how we built the letter tiles and the tile holders.
