2010 Redline Monocog 29er purchased new from Blackstone Cycles in Cumberland, RI on sale. Other than the Tektro IO Disk brakes that they added its a typical stock 'Cog.
Part 1 is stripping parts from the frame - Bottom Bracket was a bit tough (I highly recommend the Park BB tool) but otherwise pretty simply stuff.
The plan is to make the following upgrades -
Treat frame with Jp Weigles Frame Saver
3m protective film on cable/chain rub areas
Avid BB7 Brakes
Avid Speed Dial 7 Levers
Jagwire Cables
Misfitpsycles 18t cog
Niner 32t Chainring
FSA Crank
Shimano Bottom Bracket
Part 2 will be the framesaver application and cleanup.
