Northeast Ohio Forecast: Freezing rain on the way

All eyes will be our next inbound front slowly arriving this morning. This front will stall across Lake Erie and produce periods of flurries. The 'catch' to the forecast will be a layer of warmer air arriving in the mid-levels of the atmosphere.

All of northern Ohio will be of the warm side of this front. Precipitation will develop along as it stalls off shore and eventually move across the lakeshore starting this morning.. Periods of flurries will be the main precip-type. A changeover to freezing rain/mist is possible through the afternoon and evening.

Light glazing on bridges and overpasses will give way to some slick spots. This will not be a widespread, long-winded event. This system is lacking in moisture due to just cold and dry it has been. However, it will not take much freezing rain to cause problems on the roads. Drive with caution, no ice is good ice.
