Watercolor techniques can be super fun to introduce into your artwork. If you have ever used frisket, then this video is a fun one. I wanted to see if rubber cement would function similarly. Rubber cement is a little bit cheaper, and a bit more accessible than frisket. After this little experiment, I was pleasantly surprised by the results, and would happily use rubber cement in a pinch.
Masking areas of watercolor paintings can be helpful to preserve shapes and details while still being able to paint freely and create a wash.
