A moist and tender chocolate cream cheese pound cake that is so easy to prepare. Requiring only 20 minutes active time, it's a very easy and delicious cake that doesn't need extra frosting or decorations. Chocolatey, rich and buttery - perfect for afternoon tea, picnics and parties.

160 grams cake flour
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp Dutch processed cocoa powder
2 tsp instant coffee powder
160 grams brown demerara sugar*
180 grams butter, unsalted, room temperature
140 grams cream cheese, softened*
90 grams semi-sweet couverture chocolate chips, melted*
3 eggs, room temperature
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
50 grams of semi-sweet couverture chocolate chips*
NOTES:
1. Some ingredients are duplicated, use in the order listed in instructions.
2. Brown demerara sugar can be replaced with white granulated sugar and other types of soft brown sugar. The texture and taste will vary slightly from original recipe.
3. Use brick style cream cheese as the tub versions may be too soft for use with this recipe.
4. If possible, use a good quality semi-sweet couverture chocolate. It can be substituted with "baking" chocolate or regular chocolate chips.
5. Some ingredients are duplicated. Use them in the same order as provided in the instructions.
