Hillevi Martinpelto performing Schubert's song "Die junge Nonne" (Op. 43/1, D. 828) during the final of the 1989 BBC Cardiff Singer Of The World competition.
The Swedish lyric soprano is known for her work with Eliot Gardiner and the Monteverdi Choir and has released recordings of Weber's Oberon and Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro to critical acclaim.
