►How to integrate an Inline Profinet bus coupler into TIA Portal by Siemens.
►Download the GSDML file for your Profinet device from the Phoenix Contact website:
search for the Part number
open the “Download” tab on the product’s page
scroll down to the “Device description” section
e.g., for an IL PN BK-PAC (Part no. 2403696), click this link: https://www.phoenixcontact.com/qr/240...
make sure to download the GSDML file that is compatible with Siemens TIA v14 or higher and Profinet Stack 2.32
►Set up the Inline Profinet bus coupler:
0:00:09 Integrate the GDSML file
0:00:41 Connect the bus coupler with the controller
0:01:12 Add IO modules
0:01:57 Compile the configuration
0:02:12 Assign a Profinet name to the device
0:02:46 Write the project onto the controller
