Closing up the box! The back plate is on!
This is a sort of how to make an acoustic guitar - Episode four of making the Slicoustic.
I've had this design on the mind since the design of the slicwood No1. ( • Woodworking - Custom Guitar Build ). There's gonna be a little trial and error with this as with any new design and I'm going to release the build in episodes due to the lengthy timeline so lets hope it works out haha.
In this episode I continue to carve the basic shape of the upper bout. I tackle the bracing on the back plate and get it glued on. I also get a nice plate cooked up for the headstock.
