Watercolour and Neo Color II Pastels Sketchbook Session | Fun and Experimental!

This is a demonstration of two experimental watercolour landscapes I did in my sketchbook. I start with watercolour washes and then lay neo color II pastels ontop plus white watercolour on its own plus mixed with some of the other colours. I was able to make various marks with the neo color pastels and the addition of the watercolour medium aquapasto also enabled me to make marks into the paint where I had added it. This was a fun and satisfying sketchbook session. MATERIALS USED:

The colours I used were Cobalt Blue, Paynes Grey, Black, Burnt Sienna and Titanium white. Plus various Neo Color II pastels.
