After waking up to a silent and magical morning in Merak Village, right beside the mighty Pangong Lake, we began the next chapter of our Ladakh journey. As the sun slowly reflected over the blue waters, we rode along the shoreline of Pangong, soaking in its unreal beauty one last time before heading deeper into the unknown. 🏔️💙

Leaving Pangong behind, the scenery changed dramatically. We entered the cold Himalayan desert, where vast open lands, dry mountains, and absolute silence surrounded us. Riding through this raw and untouched terrain, we finally reached Chushul, one of the most sensitive and restricted regions of Ladakh. After entering our names and showing our permits at the check-post, we continued toward a place filled with pride, sacrifice, and history.

Our next stop was the Rezang La War Memorial, a deeply emotional place that stands as a tribute to the brave soldiers of the 13 Kumaon Regiment, who fought fearlessly in the 1962 Indo-China war. Standing there, surrounded by high mountains and strong winds, we felt immense respect and gratitude for the soldiers who defended the nation under extreme conditions. It was a powerful and humbling experience that reminded us why Ladakh is not just about landscapes, but also about stories of courage and sacrifice. 🇮🇳🫡

From Rezang La, we continued our ride toward Hanle, crossing long, empty roads under vast open skies. The isolation, the silence, and the untouched beauty made this stretch feel truly special. By afternoon, we finally reached Hanle, a peaceful village known for its monasteries, high-altitude terrain, and one of the world’s highest astronomical observatories.

This episode captures a completely different side of Ladakh — emotional moments at Pangong, the harsh beauty of the cold desert, the pride of Rezang La, and the calm serenity of Hanle. An unforgettable day in the heart of the Himalayas. ❤️🏍️
