Basic OoT Movement YOU NEED TO MASTER | Ocarina of Time

Speedrunners bend Ocarina of Time to their will, and it's because the developers gave us a lot of tools to make it easy. This video is not a tutorial on how to do anything, and some concepts were a bit over-simplified for the sake of this video being an introduction to Ocarina of Time's movement.

IMPORTANT: It was brought to my attention that I left out some nuance with side-hopping. Side-hopping down a slope is often slower than any other form of travel. On flat surfaces, side-hopping as an adult is not as fast as other forms of travel. Still, overall, side-hopping is not recommended for non-TAS movement. I should have known that regardless of the lack of recommendation for it, I should have included more information on it.
