In this video, I’ll show you step-by-step how to replace the Hot Roller in the fuser unit of a Ricoh MP5000 copier.
This method also works perfectly for other Ricoh models, including MP4000, MP4001, MP4002, MP5001, and MP5002.
You’ll learn how to:
✅ Safely remove the fuser unit
✅ Clean the fuser parts properly using acetone or Cana cleaner
✅ Install the heating lamps in the correct position
✅ Lubricate the bearings to prevent overload and avoid SC540 errors
