Join us as we head out on the adventure of a lifetime as we take a round-a-bout flight to Vancouver Island for a two-week adventure.
In this multi-part series, we fly our plane over the ocean for the very first time, camp in our tent at the Tofino airport adjacent to Long Beach, Explore Texada Island, and meet (and meet up with) some amazing people along the way!
In this episode, we take off from Lacombe in dense smoke, head north-west, and climb to 12,500 feet as we cross the Rocky Mountain Range to our first fuel stop in Vanderhoof. With no oxygen onboard, hypoxia is a real danger.
