Lionel produced a series of locos which was styled after the Pennsylvania Railroad K5 Pacific. While the K5 had a 4-6-2 wheel arrangement, Lionel changed it to 2-6-4. Some of these locos were equipped with magnetraction, steam generators and whistle tenders.
