The Junior Shikshak Sangh (Junior Teachers’ Union) conducted a press meet in Odisha, laying out multiple demands, and issued a seven‑day ultimatum. They stated:

“Ama duḥkha naṣuṇile … āndōlana karibu” — “If our grief is not heard within seven days… we will launch a protest.”

Translation:
They appealed emotionally, claiming their "sorrow not addressed" and warned: failure to respond will trigger statewide agitation.
