After spending time in both Nairobi and Kampala, I’m back in Uganda and this visit brought up a lot of thoughts and unexpected emotions. As an American living and traveling in East Africa, I’ve noticed some deep contrasts between these two major cities from the pace of life and culture, to the people, energy, and even small everyday moments.
