Festka Rover Test ride

-You chose to make a Festka Rover which is a gravel bike. What made you lean towards that particular bike?

I am originally a mountain biker, I have been mountain biking all my life and I love it. But I have started as a road biker many years ago in Italy and recently I came back to it because of my job. In fact I found myself guiding clients in the Alps and in the Dolomites so I had the need to have a good road bike. But as I said my favourite terrain is dirt and as soon as I have the chance I hit it. So in many occasions I found my self going pretty rough with my road bike. Recently gravel bikes are booming and I got intrigued too and during my first meeting with Yahor, Festka sales rep, he recommended me Rover saying that: -it is a perfect hybrid. Made with the front triangle from their top performing bikes Scalatore and Spectre, so very stiff, and the rear one gravel oriented that can mount even 650b wheels I thought it would be the perfect bike for me. We opted for Shimano Ultegra Di2 with 11-34 in the backand 33-50 in front which is a perfect combination for both road and gravel. I got two set of wheels. For gravel I opted for Mavic ALLROAD PRO UST DISC 650b. For road I treated myself with a set of Lightweight Wegweiser EVO. So apart for when I go out to ride enduro trails, I have a super fun versatile bike that I can enjoy every day.
