Romance has never really been the point in The Elder Scrolls anyway, just a quiet little side track if you fancied it. But for those of us who did? It made a difference.
And with The Elder Scrolls VI still a tiny dot on the horizon, it feels like the right time to ask:
Will Bethesda push romance beyond a side mechanic and build something deeper, something that feels worth investing in? How will that compare to what they’ve done before? And if they do, what will it look like?
