SOLIDWORKS Composer can create high quality vector and raster imagery to illustrate your design assembly or operation using your CAD models. A detail view can create an alternate or simplified view of a small feature or internal component, making it easier to understand a detail about your product in the context of a larger view. Detail views differ from the Digger tool in that they are vector graphics, creating a higher quality image and edge and allowing for vector output types. In this tech tip, our expert Kali Gonzalez shows how to prepare your model, capture the detail view, and then use it in the context of a different model view.
