Iceland Ring Road - Day 5 (North-west Fjords To Selfoss)

Without any doubt the best day by far, as we tackle the majestic South Coast!
My mind was absolutely blown. This isn't your typical relaxing drive: it's a constant battle between staring at a waterfall and remembering to hold the steering wheel.

We saw Vestrahorn—super dramatic black sand and mountains—and Stokksnes. Then we were straight into the ice zone: the unreal blue icebergs floating in the Jökulsárlón Ice Lagoon, and then Diamond Beach where the ice washes up like massive, glittering rocks. We even flew the FPV drone right over Svínafellsjökull Glacier.

Very late in the evening, we finished strong with the classics: the Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon and a crazy sunset at Dyrhólaey viewpoint, and, of course, the mighty Skógafoss.
