In this video we explore some of the world's deadliest islands:
1. Anthrax Island, Scotland
2. Poveglia Island, Italy
3. Deadman's Island, UK
4. ????????, Borneo
ANTHRAX ISLAND
Gruinard Island aka Anthrax Island is in the North West of Scotland and was contaminated in Anthrax when it was used as a testing site for biological weapons.
The island was recently set on fire (a method used many times to clean Gruinard island from Anthrax) which has raised the question on whether this was another deliberate attempt to clean the island after saying it was supposedly cleaned.
The fire happened at a very strange time. I uploaded a video about this island years ago and when that video went viral, it brought a lot of attention to the location and the history of the island, and quite importantly, it showed that it was still possible to land on Anthrax island.
Since then I have been wondering did my video have something to do with this fire... Let's find out.
Dead Man's Island is a small marsh island in the south of England that was used as a dumping ground for 100's of skeletons that are infected with the Black Plague and left to rot on it.
POVEGLIA ISLAND
Poveglia Island is considered the most haunted island in the world. It's located in Venice, Italy, and it has an incredibly dark past...
The island was first created as a black plague isolation zone where over 160,000 people were sent to die, the ground you walk on is said to be the remains from this period. It later became a notorious insane asylum where the doctors conducted terrible experiments on their patients away from the eyes of the public.
The last people to own the island fled during their first night staying on it when their daughter was mysteriously attacked by something... That was 70 years ago... And no one has attempted to stay on it since... Until now.
DEADMAN'S ISLAND
Everyone is banned from stepping foot on the island, and the area is surrounded by miles of treacherous quicksand, but the locals say it is a common sight to see washed up skulls and bones of the plague victims.
Clearly if there are 100's of skeletons infected with the plague they should be cleaned up right???
Well, for some reason the rumours say that is not the case...
Let's go find out if this island really is covered in black plague victims...
DEADMAN'S ISLAND: COFFIN BAY
I found out about an area on the island called Coffin Bay which is almost always submerged underwater but during this time of year there is a small window to find it and search it. Since it's so incredibly tough to access this area it's thought to be packed with historical artifacts that have washed up and been exposed with the coffins.
Our window was at midnight, meaning we would be stranded on the island for the night as the tide went out and surrounded the island in a deep quicksand.
AND FINALLY
SNAKE ISLAND, BORNEO
See you guys soon hehe
