The Magic of Dry Gouache: Plus Color Mixing & Swatching with Senex!

Hello Beautiful Creatives,

This weeks video is a long one filled to the brim with lots of various content. So kick back grab a beverage and enjoy the video! I recently chatted with the folks at Art Toolkit about creating an experimental dry gouache palette using their Folio palette. So in this video I fill it with three different brands of gouache and mix in a medium that I have never used before. It was all an experiment and, spoiler alert, it went really well! After I get my new palette filled I share some color mixing tips and demo multiple ways to mix colors. I also show you the first plein air painting I did with the dry gouache.

I also received a box of gouache from Senex with all of their colors! I had requested the pigment and lightfast info and she sent that as well. I swatch out all the colors (So beautiful!) and use some of the colors in my new dry gouache palette.
