And no matter whether you build an incredible studio in your basement or you make it work with a USB interface - if there’s one instrument where mic selection matters the most, it’s guitar. I’ve been recording music for most of my life and even when I make music in the biggest studios in the world, whether or not a guitar sounds the way we’re imagining it comes down to the mic. So in today’s video, I’m going to share what I think are the best microphones for recording guitar in home studios - one’s that make it easy to get great sounds without breaking the bank.
