Split cakes and rainbow cakes are so popular as they add instant blending with multiple shades of colour which is great for beginners and speed painting

load a 1 inch square flat brush on your multi coloured makeup

in one stork paint the eyelid and up to the temple. twist your brush to make a point.

flip your paintbrush over and with one stroke twisting your brush paint on the cheek.

you will be able to do all of this in one load of your brush.

use your finger to a carefully apply dark green glitter to the eyelid.
apply light green glitter to the blend.
i used gold glitter on the yellow to accentuate the multi-coloured makeup.

before moving on, use a dry sponge to cleanup excess glitter.

to apply the makeup with a sponge, hold your split cake horizontally and swipe your sponge across it so that the darkest colour is along tip of your sponge.

using the halftone stencil, add dark green to the eyelid

blow out your makeup with yellow halftone dots above the eyebrow

do the same for the cheekbone
use your splatter stencil to add a black splash off the corner of the eye

apply eyeliner to the lash line and blend up into the crease

apply black glitter in the corner of the eyelid to blend in with the vibrant base

use a #4 round brush apply some of your own personal style to frame out your design

use the halftone stencil and black makeup to really blow out your style!

use the single star stencil to randomly apply a perfect finish to your eye design!

carefully load the darkest colour along the longest edge of your angle brush and use it to paint the eyebrow.
While the makeup is still wet, apply matching glitter.

painted lips will finish this design

Now, let's set our model apart from the crowd and embellish her hair.
take a clean new sponge, spritz it with a little water.
hold your split cake vertically to load your sponge and drag your sponge down a lock or two of hair to frame her makeup.
add a little glitter to make this look really magical.
