Tips for Fast Landing in Airline Commander (Look description)

This is how to Fast Landing in Airline Commander.

1. After you start

Max Throttle and descend roughly, and make your oil tank empty. You should do these things simultaneously.
For safety, I recommend you to make tank at almost 1.0

2. After you make your tank empty
Go to the autopilot and set the way to the airport.
In this video, I set to 13, and each airport for the challenge has its direction to go staightly.

3. After you set the direction
Max rev-thrust and engine brake. The fastest way to land is to gear down at the distance when changing 0.7 to 0.6.
When you are almost VLO, spam the gear button, and after you lower the gear, instantly max power.
As the plane's speed varies, you should calculate the time and distance while you are braking.


4. Landing
In some airports, landing in the asphalt before runway is not allowed. So for safety, I recommend to land in the midway between runway startpoint and asphalt startpoint.

Start braking, and start nosing up when your speed is 15kts faster than the plane's VREF speed.
You should nose up very slowly and stall. When it almost stops ascending and stall, nose up roughly.
And when it is about to land, nose down very roughly.
You should land slower than 62kts.

5. After you land

When you succeed to land slower than 62kts, swerving roughly won't make your plane crash.
Roughly swerve, and You should draw a C shape when braking in the runway. Be careful not to get off the runway.


In this video, in the first officer challenge, You'll be able to get #1 in sub 37 secs, and can get 15 AC Credits (#2, #3) in sub 38 secs.


To conclude, the most important thing is to nose up 'slowly', but to maintain the nose until it actually stalls.
