Fitting sound to an Accurascale Class 50 locomotive involves a careful and methodical process to ensure both realism and reliability. Once inserted, it's vital to ensure proper seating and that no wires are pinched during reassembly.

Accurascale has designed the Class 50 with a built-in speaker housing, making sound fitting straightforward. Users can choose to install a sugar cube or custom twin ACCURATHRASH speaker for enhanced bass and clarity. The sound file itself should reflect the unique tones of the English Electric 16CSVT engine, including the distinctive "growl" and transition from idle to full throttle.

After installation, users program CVs to fine-tune motor control, volume levels, braking, and lighting effects.
