AWS Platform Exploration Series Compute Data Pipeline SQS to Lambda to DynamoDB table

In this video, we’re leveling up our AWS game! 🚀

We build on the Lambda + SQS setup from last time — now the Lambda function reads JSON from SQS, parses it, and loads it into a DynamoDB table. Super cool how DynamoDB handles it all — NoSQL, fully managed, and totally serverless. We even set up a Customers table and start pushing real data into it from SQS messages.

Also been using Amazon Q lately — it's seriously helpful for speeding up development and finding solutions faster without jumping between tabs. Definitely a productivity win! 🙌

Next up? Thinking of diving into Confluent Kafka — pulling data from Kafka into Lambda and eventually writing it to a cloud database (still figuring out which one 😅).
