As a volunteer with the Niles Canyon Railway's Marketing Team, I spent two days in the Canyon covering the Spring Steam Weekend event featuring Southern Pacific 2472, a Baldwin 4-6-2 Pacific-type steam locomotive, and Southern Pacific 3194, an EMD GP9. Watch as the train rolls through historic Niles Canyon at locations like Farwell Bridge, Brightside Yard, and Farmers Crossing in Sunol and listen to 2472's beautiful SP 6-Chime whistle and an amazing Nathan-Airchime M5 horn and, for the first time ever, a Nathan-Airchime P5 on 3194!
