I’M PREGNANT (AGAIN)!!! Michael and I are so excited that we're expecting baby #2! 🥹🍼

Taking pregnancy tests and getting a clear result was such a SAGA this time around! I’m so glad I filmed it all so I could share this with you but SHEESH...what a journey. In today's pregnancy vlog, I take you along for all of the tests we took, Milo’s reaction to the big news, and some of the exciting and challenging moments of the first trimester so far. In early January, I just had the feeling that I was pregnant. Since I got my period back after having our son, Milo, my cycle has been super consistent and I’ve been tracking my ovulation with the Natural Cycles app. Once Michael and I decided we were ready to start trying to get pregnant again, we used the app to figure out when exactly I’d be ovulating. In January, when I was 8 days post-ovulation (8 DPO - right after our first time trying), I was feeling like something was different. I was experiencing this very subtle cramping and slight pinching that was similar to when I was pregnant with Milo!

I decided to take a test even though it was early just to see what it would say. Michael and I were so excited and our hearts were RACING! Then the test said…NOT PREGNANT! That was the start of a loooong journey (only a few days long but what felt like weeks) of taking multiple tests that said “not pregnant," seeing very faint lines, getting TWO error messages, finding out the tests I had were EXPIRED, and eventually going to the drugstore for a bunch of new tests to finally get a very clear positive result.

Putting aside the fact that I was having these subtle symptoms that were similar to my last pregnancy, I was pretty convinced I was pregnant based on some of the earlier tests. Those lines can be SO faint, but when they’re there, they’re there! I totally understand Michael being desperate for a test to very clearly say “PREGNANT” or “NOT PREGNANT” once and for all, though. It felt so good to have a definitive result - especially since it was the result we were hoping for! 🤍

I also included the sweet video of Milo that we used to tell our families that we’re expecting. He is SO excited and really *gets it*. He even told his teacher that there’s a baby in Mommy’s tummy! At the end of the vlog, I included some little moments from my first trimester - the good and the barf-y. 🤢 I also added a little teaser of tomorrow’s episode of my podcast, The Real Stuff, which will have clips from each week of this trimester so far.

We couldn’t be more excited for baby #2 and I can’t wait to bring you all along for the ride!
