RESTORASI MESIN BOR DUDUK ( OLD DRILL PRESS FROM SCRAP RESTORATION) – PART 2 (Painting & reassembly)
Lanjutan dari video sebelumnya, kali ini kami melanjutkan proses restorasi mesin bor duduk 16 mm ZQ4116 yang berusia lebih dari 30 tahun. Mesin ini kami dapatkan dari pasar loak / tukang rongsok, dengan kondisi awal berkarat, tidak bisa hidup, dan banyak komponen hilang.

Di PART-2 ini, pekerjaan yang dilakukan antara lain:
✅ Pembersihan karat & pengecatan (Epoxy Filler + Cat DUCO),
✅ Perbaikan dinamo motor + ganti lahar (bearing 6203Z),
✅ Pemasangan kapasitor baru 20 μF / 400 VAC,
✅ Pembuatan crank handle meja kerja baru,
✅ Ganti fan belt A-24, serta perakitan ulang komponen.

Meski masih ada beberapa part yang belum tersedia (saklar On-Off, cover kapasitor, cover terminal dinamo, dan tensioner fan belt), hasil akhirnya cukup memuaskan. Kabar baiknya: motor lama berhasil diperbaiki, jadi tidak perlu beli dinamo baru yang harganya jutaan! 🎉

PART-2 : DRILL PRESS RESTORATION (SCRAP DEALER FIND)
30-YEAR-OLD DRILL PRESS RESTORATION – PART-2 (COMPLETED)

Hello and welcome back to the channel, friends! I hope you’re having a great day.
This is PART-2 of the restoration project for a 16 mm Drill Press ZQ4116 that we purchased from a scrap dealer/flea market.

Initial Condition (Before Restoration):

Covered in rust,
Non-functional,
Motor capacitor missing,
Power On–Off switch missing,
No power cable,
Broken table height adjustment crank handle.

Restoration Work Completed in PART-2:

✔ Rust removal and surface cleaning,
✔ Repainting with Epoxy Filler + DUCO Finish Coat,
✔ Motor repair (lucky enough the motor could be restored, no need for a costly replacement),
✔ Bearing replacement – 2 pcs motor bearings (Type: 6203Z),
✔ Installation of a new Starting Capacitor 20 μF / 400 VAC (Brand: San-ei),
✔ Fabrication of a new Table Adjustment Crank Handle
 – repurposed from a concrete mixer crank lever and a corroded
washing machine shaft,
✔ Replacement of 1 pc Fan Belt (Code: A-24),
✔ Complete reassembly of all supporting components.

👉 “No need to buy a brand-new motor worth millions — the old motor could still be restored successfully!”

Missing Components (Still on Order):

On–Off switch,
Capacitor protective cover,
Motor terminal cover,
Fan belt tensioner.
