The Thumboormuzhi Dam and Garden lie in the Chalakudy river surrounded by forest and is one of the most sought after tourist spot in Thrissur district. The butterfly garden, children's play area, the hanging bridge etc... there are entertainment opportunities for people of all ages. The butterfly garden has almost 150 species of butterflies and is a treat to our eyes. The hanging bridge is awesome, it's a rare one and worth watching. A visit to Thumboormuzhi garden is really memorable because of the marvelous view of the dam, hanging bridge, children's park, forest and the river. The District Tourism Promotion Council has provided parking spaces, wash rooms etc in the are and they are maintaining it properly
