The cheap breather hose on Kohler Courage engines will fail, blocking the engine's ventilation and forcing oil out every seal on the engine. Here is how to inspect for this failure and how to repair the biggest oil leak on the machine which will be where this breather hose attaches to the engine. Please check for this defective hose before you start leaking oil from several places on your engine. Some places may still leak after the breather system is fixed. The damage is already done. Blown RTV, O-rings, and crank seals won't reseal themselves. Stopping the cause is critical so here is a close up view.
