National Day for students with Leaning Differences 2025

Under the inspiring theme “Solid Roots, Infinite Horizons,” the 13th Annual National Day for Students with Learning Difficulties convened a powerful community of advocates, educators, and students dedicated to fostering a more inclusive Lebanon for learners with difficulties.

Hosted at Beirut Annunciation Orthodox College, the event featured compelling voices, including the British Ambassador HE Mr. Hamieh Cowell, representatives from the First Lady’s office, the British Council, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, SKILD Center leaders, educators, parents, and, most importantly, students.

The highlight was the courageous sharing of personal journeys and triumphs by students – from inclusive schools to the IDEAL program at NDU and into the workforce. Parents also offered poignant testimonies of their shared struggles and successes.

Together, we reflected on the progress made in realizing inclusive education and envisioned the boundless possibilities ahead.
