In Ireland, it's estimated that drug driving is responsible for one in ten fatal road accidents. Earlier this year, Gardaí began testing drivers for cannabis, cocaine, opiates and benzodiazepines at the roadside, using technology that can reveal within minutes if a driver has the drugs in their system.
But how much do Irish people really know about drug driving, and about the roadside tests?
We took to the streets of Dublin with a Dräger DrugTest 5000 - and a willing Garda - to find out how informed Irish people really are.
