This year, Adult Swim dedicated April Fools to Rick and Morty with a new live-action broadway/play style special re-enacting notable moments throughout the series! This stunt wasn't as eventful as last year and wasn't very good in my personal opinion.
You should still see it for yourself since I'm just some guy on the internet spouting nonsense takes, it's on Adult Swim's YouTube channel for free! Even if it's not the best, it's still quite an experience.
The artists and crew did a great job and I appreciate how great the sets look, but it's just not my thing. It could just be me since plays aren't really my cup of tea.
If they decided to go all out for April Fools' by having some sort of schedule change involving the show they're meant to promote, it may have been better.
