Anthony Cook – VP Geology, Datamine
Anthony is a geostatitian with extensive experience in resource estimation and mine operations, both open pit and underground. His experience spans a range of precious metal deposits across diverse geological settings, including alluvial, supergene oxide, and in-situ hard rock mineralisation. Previously, Anthony was the Product Manager for Supervisor, one of Datamine’s leading geostatistics programs, where he applied his deep technical knowledge to improve data analysis tools for the industry. Now, as VP of Geology, he leads the joint strategy for Datamine's Geology products, with a focus on enhancing interoperability. Anthony remains committed to driving innovation, applying advanced techniques, and empowering clients through knowledge transfer and lasting operational improvements.
Adam Mullett – Associate Partner, Product Engineering, IBM
Adam is a seasoned storyteller and digital transformation expert, currently serving as an Associate Partner at IBM, where he helps organizations turn innovative ideas into impactful business solutions. With a diverse background in marketing, content creation, and leadership, he also authored the book "From 'No' to 'How?'" and recently judged the Content Marketing Awards, showcasing his commitment to empowering others through effective storytelling.
John Kirkman - Co-Founder at UWA ERDi Test Lab
John is a co-founder and Managing director of ETP (Enterprise Transformation Partners).
He has years of experience working to introduce and scale the use of interoperable solutions into the resources sector.
John’s team operate the UWA Energy Resources Digital Interoperability I4.0 TestLab (ERDi) which was established as part of the Australian Industry 4.0 TestLab Network.
It is a pillar of the federal governments Industry 4.0 strategy, underpinned by the Australian-German Collaboration on Industrie 4.0.
The ETP team have successfully led the design and implementation of the 1st I4.0 interoperable solutions in open pit and underground mining globally,
working with multiple mining software vendors to enhance their software products to support the I4.0 standards.
Carl Smith – National Account Director, IntelliSense.io
Carl is a Perth based technology specialist with over 20 years of solution delivery in the mining sector. Previously Carl has worked with leading technology providers including Siemens, Hexagon and Micromine.
Carl focuses on fostering long-term partnerships with key site stakeholders to assist them in successfully delivering optimization solutions for operations.
For the past four years Carl has held the role of National Account Director APAC for IntelliSense.io, a Mining software product company focusing on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning optimization. The company has been operating for ten years with international mining clients and is headquartered in Cambridge, U.K.
Brice Gower – CEO, Augment Technologies
As cofounder Brice has been CEO of Augment for the last 6 years, leading a team of AI developers to solve a problem that has at best only ever been mitigated in open cut mining; ore loss and dilution from blast movement. After spending the initial 4 years developing the solution with First Quantum's copper mines, that last 2 years have been spent traveling the globe deploying the solution to local gold operations like Northern Star, African PGM operations, and even getting as far North as the arctic circle. With the successful uptake of the Muckpile Block Model, today Brice leads a team of 12 people including 3 amazing Geologists who implement and support the software.
