⬩ NOTES ⬩
After filming the wear test, I wore this product throughout the following week as many days as I could so I can share more about it with you on whether this is hyped or worth it!
To be as real and honest as I can be, I tested this skin tint with 3 different sunscreens I currently use - Bondi Sands Fragrance-Free Sunscreen Lotion with SPF 50, Naked Sundays Collagen Glow 100% Mineral Sunscreen (for Sensitive Skin), and 11 Pearls Sunscreen Lotion with SPF 50+.
Please also note that during this test, I learned that this product wears better when using a beauty sponge as it can help stick the product better onto the skin. Thus, if you're wanting to use a foundation brush, please go ahead however, make sure to use a beauty sponge afterward!
Day 1 - I tested with the Bondi Sands sunscreen and applied the skin tint using a foundation brush only. Throughout the day, I felt my skin was feeling unpleasantly oily and greasy. My T-zone was unusually dewy and the skin tint looked like it melted through the skin without leaving any signs of peeling or separation.
Day 2 - On this day, I applied the 11 Pearls sunscreen hoping that it will give me the same results as when I did the video. However, I didn't know that the cause of not liking the experience of the skin tint was purely due to using a foundation brush. My T-zone was looking oily once again.
Day 3 - I applied the Naked Sundays sunscreen and I used a beauty sponge this time. Everything went well. My skin felt lightweight, looked like skin, looked flawless, and not looking oily than usual. This was a good day.
Day 4 - I gave the Bondi Sands another chance. There are two things I did differently on this day were: 1) allowing the sunscreen to sink into the skin before applying the skin tint, 2) used my beauty sponge. Overall, the skin tint wore well on this day but my T-zone was still looking dewy. However, there was no sign of peeling or separation. Maybe it's my skin?
OVERALL, I really enjoy this product. I will definitely continue wearing it throughout this month and see how I go. If you'd like to hear more about this product, make sure to head over to my IG @rosiedolly as that's where I will be talking about it!
