A wonderful ride from Hanley to Newcastle, route 25, aboard preserved First Potteries Scania L94UB Wright Axcess-Floline, a real potteries classic.
This is the last run of Christmas Day, departing 5pm from Hanley.
The preserved Mercedes 709D is also seen, working the 26 service.
Huge thanks to my son Dan for his enthusiasm and ability to get this grumpy old man out of the house and have another great adventure. I love you.
Certainly a different kind of Christmas experience, and a memorable one.
And thanks to all those involved with putting on a Christmas Day service, not something you see in many places, hats off to you.
