Key cards
Fiendsmith's Rextremende
Unaffected by card effects, except ‘Fiendsmith’ cards, while equipped with a ‘Fiendsmith’ Equip Spell. You can only use each of the following effects of ‘Fiendsmith's Rextremende’ once per turn. If this card is Fusion Summoned: You can discard 1 card; send 1 LIGHT Fiend monster from your Deck or Extra Deck to the GY. If this card is sent to the GY: You can target 1 other ‘Fiendsmith’ card in your GY or banishment; add it to your hand.”

Primite Dragon — Nether Berzelius
Gains 1000 ATK for each Normal Monster used for its Fusion Summon. Negate the activated effects of monsters your opponent controls, whose Level/Rank/Link Rating is less than or equal to the number of Normal Monsters in your field and GY. If this card is sent from the field to the GY: You can Special Summon 1 Normal Monster from your Deck in Defense Position.”

Easy example combo (show on-screen as numbered plays)
Open: Primite Lordly Lode → search a Primite and Special Summon a Normal Monster in DEF (locks that Normal's effects this turn).
Use Fiendsmith's Tract / Fiendsmith starter to fetch/field a Fiendsmith piece (or revive via Lacrima) and set up at least one LIGHT Fiend + the Normal(s) needed.
Fusion Summon Primite Dragon — Nether Berzelius (Primite + Normal(s)). It gains ATK from the Normals and negates opponent monster effects up to the count threshold — create immediate interruption windows.
If needed later, use Fiendsmith's Rextremende’s GY effect to recover a Fiendsmith card (recursion keeps pressure and follow-ups).

Unique strategy / playstyle
Play this as a control-interrupt hybrid: use Primite cards to flood the field with cheap Normal bodies that both power up Berzelius and act as fuel for further summons, while Fiendsmith provides recursion, Fusion toolboxing, and extra disruption (equip spells, recovery, and targeted shuffles). The deck punishes greedy opponent plays by layering “must-answer” negates (Berzelius) with recursive value (Rextremende, Lacrima, Tract). Recent builds also fold in cheap banish/hand traps for a low-skill high-reward pilot.

Is this still strong in the 2025 meta?
Short answer: Yes — very playable and meta-relevant.
