This is the final 15 minute sequence with Wayne Cabot closing down radio station WCBS 880 before it went off-air at 00.01 on Monday 26 August 2024.
The station was just a month short of its 100th anniversary and had been running under the Newsradio format for 57 years. It's place on the dial is now occupied by WHSQ-AM
