During Navaratri, we celebrate the Divine Mother as Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati. At Skanda Vale, we are blessed with a special connection to Devi, who chose to manifest here partly because of our community's reverence and care for all life.
Our Guru experienced Her intense Shakti, seeing Her as Kali and other myriad forms, and became Her instrument—filled with childlike wonder at Her intoxicating presence. The Divine Mother manifests when there is compassion and care for Her children—the birds, animals, plants and trees. True worship of Devi is recognizing the divine spark in all life and serving it with love.
This Navaratri, let's honour the Mother by being more gentle with Her creation. Jai Maa! 🙏
