Thermal Pads OR Paste, Which is Better?

I've wondered about thermal pads for a while and have wanted to test them. I finally had the opportunity when we where dealing with the cooling issues on AM5. Unfortunately we never got a chance to check these out because we solved that systems cooling issues. So I'm doing it now.
