When a tree falls in the woods does it make a sound?

When a tree falls in the woods does it make a sound? Yes it does. There was a recent fire that came through the area. The end result is that there are a lot of trees that are damaged or dying.

When the wind picked up, there was at least one that we saw fall. There were several that were down and or dead but still standing. The wind I am sure finished off several of them that day.

There were signs that warned of the dangers and this was the first time that I actually saw one fall.
