I took a train to Bristol Parkway, then cycled down to Bitton village using a path that closely follows what used to be one of the Midland Railway branch lines. I pass through Mangotsfield and Warmley, and arrive at Bitton Railway Station just in time to board the next service already standing at the platform. We first head north to Oldham Common, then south to Avon Riverside, then back to Bitton. The whole trip is around 55 minutes - and highly recommended on a summer's day.
This video had been online before on a different channel. But I wasn't happy with the editing, and I've learnt a lot since then. Hope you enjoy, and feel inspired to one day explore the Bristol and Bath Railway Path.
