A walk along the historic medieval Street of the Knights in Rhodes old town, leads you to The Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights of Rhodes. Originally built in the late 7th century as a Byzantine citadel, in the 14th century the fortress was converted into their administrative centre and a palace for their Grand Master. It is one of the few examples of Gothic architecture in Greece.
