A town that has been buried in the stones for thousands of years. Where did these stones come from? What is the secret buried under these stones? After all, who were the residents of this settlement?
Koh Namak is a strong wall standing between Pothohar and the plains of Punjab. On its heights there are deserts hidden from the eyes of the world. Hidden in these deserts are Angant forts, temples and dharmastans and ancient settlements which are hidden from the eyes of the world.
Location
This piece of land is located in the middle of Chakwal district of Punjab and its name is Laphi.   A road leads from Buchhal village of Kallar Kahar tehsil to Lilla Interchange near Sarklan village. Looking at it, it seems that it is sitting on the edge of a hill.  There is the western side of here where there is a very deep ditch between which the springs of the blue waters of Nila Vahan flow and this spring must have been the source of water for the inhabitants of this city. climbing and it was through these stairs that my sons and I suddenly discovered the city for the first time. Built like a falcon's nest, Fort Laphi is the largest and most unique of the ancient forts in the Salt Range in terms of area.
It is built from Kinglo Merit Rocks. That is, small stones such as those found within cementite are made by cutting these types of rocks and cutting and shaping them into slabs is a high-level art because they can be prone to breakage while shaping them. Therefore, their construction was very difficult. In its north-east direction, there are traces of a huge wall with towers and basins. On its south-west side, there is a deep ravine of Nilawan, where the high rocks are. It is impossible to climb to the top of this fort and there is no illusion of a city when seen from below.
